For over 50 years, we have worked alongside people living in poverty, providing them with training, tools and access to finance that unlock opportunity and helps them to make lasting change.

Our work focuses on building lasting, transformative change for people, their families and their communities. As a result, families eat better, children can go to school, and communities work better together. That’s what we think of when it comes to having an impact.

We’re supporting Ghana’s young people to move into safer, more secure work through skills training. Our programmes give young Ghanaians the tools to set up and run their own enterprises, or gain long-term employment. This is supporting them to build sustainable livelihoods and provide for their families

Our work with refugees is expanding opportunity across Uganda. Last year, our programmes enabled refugees to gain financial independence, build livelihoods that can support their families and establish long-term stability.

In Rwanda, we’re equipping farmers with the skills and resources they need to strengthen their farms and build resilience to climate change. With higher earnings from their harvests, parents can afford to feed their children and keep them in school, building brighter futures across rural communities.

597 farmers accessed loans

Farmers in Malawi are strengthening their resilience to climate change through our regenerative agriculture training. With more high quality crops, farmers can earn more and build their savings. We're also working with savings groups to improve their efficiency and build their finances.
